Working with GROT 12H georadar in a pit.

LLP "Arkland Minerals", Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan is developing a gold deposit.

The sounding of the stockwork - an irregularly shaped ore body (often isometric) formed by a mass of rock penetrated by a dense network of differently oriented veins is carried out using the GROT 12H georadar with different antennas - from 20 cm for tracking at shallow depths of inclusions in the form of nuggets, up to 2 meter long for localization of gold ore veins. The enclosing rock is sandstone, silicified, oxidized from the surface to 3 meters in depth.

The vein is clearly visible on the radargram in the region of 4 meters along the profile.

Two buckets of ore and the result:

Hooray!

Hooray!

The video shows the working moments in a pit during a search for golden nuggets using GROT 12H georadar with 30 cm antennas fixed on a radio-transparent platform.

The result is a radargram from a profile with an anomaly:

Дно шурфа

On radarograms on 1 meter of the profile the nugget 3x7 cm is localized:

Wave forms in the enclosing rocks (left) and in the location of the nugget (on the right) are very different.
